 Historic Gandy Dancer CabinsPicture_0015

Gandy Dancer Cabins were used for workers who helped build and maintain The Great Northern Railroad through Marias Pass.  Our cabins were moved here during 1930’s, before we got here, but we’ve worked hard through 3 generations to keep them available for guests to enjoy their adventures in Glacier National Park.  All of our properties have running water, bathrooms, plumbing and electricity.  Dependent on availability, the choice is yours to stay in our House Keeping Cabin which offers a small kitchen, living room and sleeps up to four.  The Large Sleeping Cabin with two queen size beds is a simple open room layout.  A small sleeper is as simple as is gets with a room with a queen size bed, private bathroom and a small fridge and coffee maker.

The Beaver Lodge

This is the newest property added to our list of rentals.  The Beaver lodge is a 3 bedroom, hardwood floor, cedar house built on the southern hillside overlooking the entrance to Bison Creek and a clear view of Glacier National Park.  It can hold 8 folks if everyone sleeps two to a bed on the larger beds.  Great for families.  The main bedroom has a queen size bed and a half bathroom.  The queen room has a queen size bed, and the third room has a full size bed and set of twin bunk beds.  The kitchen has tools and equipment to prepare evening meals and snacks for the day’s adventures.  The living room is open and the gas fireplace helps keep things warm during the cooler nights of summer.  The porch offers open air views, wildlife viewing, and space for all.  Please don’t leave any snacks on the porch, you may have a bear sniffin’ around the next morning.  It’s happened.  The Beaver Lodge has a 3 night minimum and a $50 cleaning fee.  It is also within walking distance to the dining room where you can connect to WIFI and different walking paths throughout the property.

 A Warm Breakfast Each Morning

cinnamon rolls

Included with your stay with us is a warm breakfast each morning in our newly floored dining room.  We’ve made all kinds of things for breakfast over the years.  Huckleberry pancakes, omelets, cinnamon rolls, crepes, eggs-n-toast, breakfast tostadas and even fish and eggs when Dad was cooking.  We usually have some sort of breakfast meat like ham, bacon or sausage, and often some huckleberry muffins to boot.  We pick one thing to make in the morning and that’s what we go with for everyone.  We have a cereal and toast bar set up in the dining room along with some fresh fruit.  The coffee is hot and there’s plenty of it.  For early early risers we can have the coffee on a timer and some home baked goodies left in the dining room for you.  We serve our  breakfast between 8-9 each morning for guests staying with us.  A great place to meet with your group, share some stories, get some grub and get ready for a rockin’ rugged day checking out Glacier Park!
